Florida State keeper Cristina Roque saved two penalties after seeing Virginia’s first penalty taker miss high, putting her attempt into stands.
Florida State survives and advance. They will face the winner of Santa Clara vs North Carolina. UNC is one of the other most successful programs in women’s soccer and is the favorite to advance and meet Florida State.
