MacQuille Walker, Zenawi Bowen, Micah Mendes and their Thomas College Men's Soccer teammates fell to the University of New England 2-1 in a non-conference game at Smith Field.
The University of New England took the early lead with a goal by Alex Gray in the 14th minute. The Thomas College answered back eight minutes later when Bowen was brought down inside the box. Eric LaBrie stepped up to take penalty shot and converted for his second goal of the season to tie it at 1 - 1.
The University of New England took back the lead for good in the final minutes of the first with a Lee Esposito goal that gave them a 2-1 victory.
Camden Spear earned the win for University of New England, making five saves on six shots. John Villanueva made five saves on seven shots in the loss.
