In a letter addressed to the Bermuda Football Association, Patrick Reid a Grassroots Coaching Student in Jamaica is requesting for Bermuda’s National Women’s coach Naquita Robinson to be his Mentor.
Reid writes, “I am interested in pursuing a career in coaching Women’s soccer as a secondary career. I am presently studying coaching at the grassroots level, I recently completed a course with US SOCCER and received a license to coach 9v9 at the grassroots level.”
“These course require me to have a mentor from anywhere in the world to guide me along my learning process,” continued Reid.
Reid went on to write, “I would like to choose Naquita Robinson from your National Academy as my Mentor although I am Jamaican living in Jamaica. I saw Bermuda Women’s soccer team in action at the CCWQ 2018 Qualifiers against Jamaica and also against Antigua and Barbuda.”
Reid concluded, “I would like to understudy your women’s programme as a grassroots coach.”
