Nahje Smith has been selected to Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) Under 17 team that will face Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday January 27th.
During the final Under 17’s trial match it was played between a Red Select team and a Blue Select team.
The match was a high quality encounter with the ISFA Red team coming out on top.
Smith was included in the Dandy Town Hornets team that defeated the Boulevard Blazers in the Friendship Semi-Final at the Devonshire Rec.
Harrison Sullivan opened the scoring with a fine curling effort and further goals from Finley Fielding, Ben Jones and Leon Thomas gave the Red team a commanding lead.
Harry Hauserman saved a first half penalty giving the blue team a glimmer of hope going into the second half. Raf Kaidussis added another just after half time before the blue team hit back late on with a powerful run from Yigal Bruk.
