Nathan Trott lined up for West Ham United as they faced off against FC Porto in their first International Cup game of the Season.
FC Porto enter this tournament as the defending champions, they also won tournament back in the 2016/17 season.
In the 16th minute the first real chance of the game came and it fell Porto's way. A lovely cross in from the right is right on the head of Gleison Moreira, but the center-forward heads it over Trott's goal unchallenged.

In the 38th minute a massive throw-in from Inacio Santos from the left, the full-back hurls it into the box and it's allowed to drop and bounce inside the six-yard-area but Trott eventually grabbed it.
A great chance for Porto came during the first half stoppage time. Palhares got the ball back from a cross on the right but his shot is well saved by Trott.
In the 68th minute the score was level as Porto FC’s Gleison Moreira headed in from a cross from the left beating Trott.
84 minutes in and Trott made a wonderful save to stop Porto from nicking this one! Trott flew away to his left to spectacularly deny the visitors a spectacular winner.
Three minutes later West Ham United got a goal from Jahmal Hector-Ingram.
The forward looks to have won it late on here! He receives the ball on the edge of the box on the left before beating three Porto men and smashing home.
In the end West Ham United would record a victory with a sweet, late winner giving them all three points in their first Group A fixture tonight, and a first ever win in the competition in general.
