A day after www.islandstats.com reported that Djair Parfitt-Williams has signed a contract, we report that Nathan Trott and his West Ham United Under 23 teammates played to a 2 – 2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur in a Premier League 2 London derby.
In the 3rd minute Tottenham would take the lead, Keanan Bennetts taps in after Shilow Tracey's driving run down the right hand side.
West Ham would equalize in the 20th minute as Domingos Quina gets his first of the season, West Ham were set away down the right hand side and Marcus Browne had plenty of space to run into. Staying composed, the captain got his head up and saw Quina in space, and the Portuguese took his time, got it under control and curled beyond the Tottenham goalkeeper’s reach into the far corner.
Six minutes later Tottenham would be back in front, Tracey this time scores. Quina slipped through one-on-one, and the forward beat a defender before striking at the keeper. Spurs broke and first goalscorer Bennetts played a lovely through ball into the path of Tracey, who finished coolly, chipping the onrushing Trott.
In the 48th minute Tottenham had a decent chance, from a corner from West Ham's right a header was directed at goal, but Trott saves well, taking the ball out the air and holding on.
West Ham drew level again the equalizer came in the 77th minute when they were awarded a penalty, which was hit straight down the middle from Browne.
