West Ham United went in front in the 7th minute when Lovely move by the Hammers to break the deadlock. Jonathan Calleri crossed for Ashley Fletcher who laid it back to Martin Samuelsen. The winger caresses the ball brilliantly past the Blackburn goalkeeper.
Blackburn equalized in the 28th minute when Lewis Hardcastle curled a free-kick into the bottom corner, leaving West Ham United goalkeeper Sam Howes no chance.
Parfitt-Williams had a rather quiet game, and was replaced after 59 minutes, neither team would find the back of the net for the remainder of the game as they shared the points.
