Junior forward Tevin Reid scored two goals and recorded an assist to lead the Thomas College Men's Soccer team in a 6-1 victory over Husson in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) contest.
In the victory, Thomas College earn their fourth straight win, improving to 4-2-1 (3-0 NAC) while the Husson fall to 2-5-2 (1-1-1 NAC).
Thomas College Men's Soccer has 9 Bermudian players on their roster including Diondre Dowling, London Steede-Jackson, Mikal Simmons, Willie Clemons, MacQuille Walker, Jordan Lambe, Rai Sampson, Jordan Payne and Zeon Robinson.
Freshman Sampson put Thomas up 1-0 early in the 3rd minute on a feed from Reid and his first career goal. Reid scored his two goals of the contest in the 37th and 41st minute to push the lead to 3-0.
Just before the buzzer sounded to end the first half, Kyle Fletcher added his first goal of the season from Ibrahim Moustapher.
The Thomas offense went back to work early in the second half as Clemons netted his second goal of the season from Steede-Jackson.
Husson began to show some life as they scored five minutes after on a goal from Ian Lee. In the 78th minute, Jeffrey Nagy finished the scoring for a 6-1 final.
