The Bermuda Under 17 National Team arrived back at the LF Wade International Airport following a sucessful Caribbean Football Union (CFU) 2016 Under-17 World Cup Qualifiers in St. Vincent.
The Bermuda was up against Grenada, St. Lucia, and host St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Bermuda finished with 7 points on top of Group 3 recording 2 wins and 1 loss and have advanced to the next round which will be held in Trinidad in September.
Upon arrival coach Dennis Brown said, “I want to thank you the parents for insuring that the players made it to training no matter what time we called it and to the players you are the best group of boy’s I have coached and taken abroad.”
Bermuda is one of the six group winners and the best runner up who have advanced to the CFU Final Round that will be held September 16th through 25th in Trinidad and Tobago.
Bermuda are in the group alongside Jamaica, Haiti and host Trinidad.
