Development Squad striker Djair Parfitt-Williams admitted it felt amazing to score the winner in West Ham’s 1-0 Barclays Under 21 Premier League Cup final first leg victory. The 19-year-old tapped home the game’s only goal in the last minute of regular time to send the 10,000 inside the Boleyn Ground into raptures. Parfitt-Williams, returning from injury, is West Ham United’s top goalscorer in the competition and was delighted to add to his tally with such an important strike.
However he and his teammates will know that the job is only half done, the Development Squad will hope to end on a high when they travel to Hull City for the Under 21 Premier League Cup final second leg on Wednesday May 4th holding that slender 1-0 advantage.
Several Bermudians will be in attendance to watch the Final, we are hoping to get updates and photo’s as the match gets underway.
