Just outside the Somerset Cricket Club, three youngsters were the recipients of the 2nd Annual Clyde Best Scholarship Awards.
The three Tahzeiko Harris who attends South Kent, Kayla Corday who attends St. Johnsbury Academy and Jalen Greene who attends Harefield Academy were all grateful for the Scholarship.
Corday was extremely excited as she became the first Female Recipient of the Award. Clyde Best is a former professional football player, and a legend in local sporting circles, Best was honored in 2015 having a street named after him, the same street where the presentation was made.
Regarded by many as one of the greatest athletes Bermuda has ever produced, Best is a local and international legend said, “I hope these youngsters always do their best, don’t let others stop you from achieving your goals.”
