Cedarbridge are BSSF Senior School Champions

Cedarbricge Academy are the Bermuda School Sports Federation Senior School Girls and Boys Champions following a double header at the National Sports Center.

In total eight goals were scored in the two matches, with an unfortunate incident that saw a Cedarbridge Academy player taken away in an ambulance with a suspected broken leg.

Dashae Darrell gave Cedarbridge the lead in the 4th minute, Teyah Lindo gave her a defense splitting pass from the midfield to send her clear on goal. Darrell rounded the keeper before slotting the ball into an empty net.

Lindo would double the lead three minutes later when her 35 yard free kick was mishandled by the Berkeley keeper. Jadae Steede-Hill pulled one back for Berkeley in the 33rd minute scoring from the edge of the area. Jada Samuels would equalize for Berkeley in the 60th minute.

Syphire Hunt scored the winner in the 65th minute when she curled the ball from the edge of the box into the far corner. Lindo was MVP for Cedarbridge while Dahza Greaves was the Berkeley MVP.

Berkeley took the lead in the Senior Boys game through Jahnarzae Swan in the 37th minute. Keishon Bean equalized in the 40th minute when he was the first to react to a shot which came off the crossbar. Jomeko Mallory scored the winner with a first time volley which left the Cedarbridge goalkeeper with now chance.

Berkeley keeper Quinaceo Hunt was MVP along with Jahkari Furbert from Cedarbridge.
