The Whitney Institute won the Bermuda School Sports Federation’s Over 13 Boys Six-A-Side Tournament at the Shelly Bay Field with a 1-0 victory over Clearwater Middle School.
Jai Pitt scored the lone goal for the winners in the second half. Whitney had defeated Dellwood Middle School 4-0 in their Semi-Final. Pitt scored two, while Sekei Spence and Dione Millett added a goal each.
Clearwater Middle School needed a penalty shot out to defeat TN Tatem in the other Semi-Final. The game ended 2-2 with Arnezha Astwood and Tejai Ford scoring for TN Tatem, while the Clearwater goals came from Tre McCallan and Kaijun Simons.
Saltus Grammar School came from behind to defeat Sandys Secondary Middle School in the Under 13 Final.
Daimori Tucker gave Sandys Secondary Middle School an early lead, but Saltus Grammar School countered with goals from Christian Logo Elibox and Jarryd Richardson
Deniche Hill scored twice to give Sandys Secondary Middle School a 2-1 win in their Semi-Final over TN Tatem, while Saltus Grammar School defeated Whitney 3-1. Richardson scored twice for Saltus Grammar School while Ajani Burchall scored the other, Whitney’s goal came from Teh-kel Taylor.
