Right from the start the investigation into match fixing should have started at half time of this match with Haiti leading 4-0.
Bermuda officials should be on the phone to Caribbean Football Union officials requesting a full investigation into the result on Friday between the host Haiti and Puerto Rico, that saw Puerto Rico win 3 – 0 after losing to Bermuda 1 – 0.
Haiti finished on top of CFU 2015 Women’s Under 20 Finals Group A with 3 points, but they have a goal difference of 5, Puerto Rico also have 3 points with a goal difference of 2 and Bermuda finished 3rd with 3 points and a goal difference of -7.
With the Bermuda Football Association President Larry Mussenden expected to hear the appeals of FIFA President Sepp Blatter and UEFA President Michel Platini soon, he would need to do some sorting of his own Associations needs at this time.
The game ended in a goal-scoring blitz as host Haiti scored eight goals defeating Bermuda, topping the group, and clinching a spot in the Semi-Finals.
Haiti started the first half on a mission to score goals and rebuild pride after a previous defeat by Puerto Rico. It was less than a minute that Haiti almost opened the scoring but Sabine Chandler missed from close range.
The Bermuda women looked organized after almost conceding early but Haiti scored when Kensia Destinvil headed in from close ranged in the 10th minute of play. Haiti's second would come from Nerilla Mondesir who showed good pace getting away from her defender and placing a shot in the bottom right corner making it 2-0 in the 33rd.
Haiti's third goal of the half and Mondesir’s scored second would come in the 38th as she tapped in from a goal-mouth scramble off a Haitain corner kick.
As Bermuda sought to get something from the first half by having good spells with possession, Haiti's Roseline Eloissaint received a ball assisted by Kensia Destinvil to make it 4-0 in the 44th minute, ending the first half.
The second half belonged to the home team as they scored another four goals on Bermuda. Sabina Chandler would score in the 78th and Mondesir would complete her hat-trick in the 81st. Haiti would round up the scoring as Eloissaint added the second in the 85th and Darline Radamaker finished in the 91st minute, ending the match 8 - 0.
