The Thomas College Men’s Soccer programme that features 6 Bermuda players, including Jordan Payne, London Steede-Jackson, Mikal Simmons, Tre Ming, Willie Clemons and Chris Godfrey improved their North Atlantic Conference (NAC) record to 2-0 with a 6-2 win over New England College. Adam LaBrie scored three goals on three shots and senior captain Ming recorded three assists to lead the Thomas College.
LaBrie put Thomas on the scoreboard just six minutes into the game on an assist from Clemons. At the 21st minute, Clemons added his fifth goal of the season from Ming to put Thomas up 2-0. New England cut the Thomas lead in half on a Conor Douglass goal to finish the first half at 2-1.
Just three minutes into the second half, LaBrie added two quick goals to extend the lead to 4-1. Ming and DJ Nicholas recorded assists on the goals. Eight minutes later, Nicholas scored his sixth of the season to add to the Thomas lead. In the 84th minute, sophomore Kyle Fletcher added another insurance goal on Ming's third assist of the match. A minute later, New England scored their second goal from Stephen Brown to finish the game at 6-2.
