The nationally-ranked Young Harris Mountain Lions powered out three goals in the first half to stay perfect in Peach Belt Conference play and claim a 3-1 victory over Marco Warren and his Flagler College Men's Soccer teammates at Saints Field.
Young Harris opened up the match with an explosive offensive attack. They took advantage of a foul in the box scoring their first goal on a good penalty kick from Alex Wyper at the 12:55 mark. The offense continued for the visitors, as they scored two goals in the 22nd minute. The first score came off a cross from Lewis Hilton, as Marco Micaletto drilled it into the back of the net, and 25 seconds later Mikie Rowe tallied his fourth goal of the season with a header with an assist from Tom Joslin.
Samba Diop saved Flagler from a shutout with a goal in the 78th minute. Diop connected with Nemanja Damjanovic's pass to send the ball past the Young Harris keeper for the only score of the second half.
