Bermuda's Brazilian Football School via the invitation of AUDACIA Center of Excellence (ADC), is facilitating a three day football camp in Dayton, Ohio.
The camp is based on offering outreach to youth from conflict regions in Africa, who have been resettled in the United States of America in Dayton, Ohio.
ADC is led by Kim Arnold who serves as the President and Bermuda's own Dr. Lew Simmons who is the Vice President.
Simmons is well known for being a leader in education and a former famed player of Somerset Trojans and Bermuda's National Team. Simmons is also a founding member of BBFS in partnership with Dennis Brown.
BBFS has provided two coaches for the camp in Leroy Wilson and Cal Blankendal to provide grass roots coaching to 60 Coed attendees aged 5-18 years of age. The camp started today and will end on Saturday with various drills and life skills sessions taking place, to empower the young players.
BBFS have also provided 60 plus pairs of football boots, shorts and shin pads via the generous donations from the local football community on the island. The shoes and shorts were handed out to the group of 60 and for some it was their first pair of boots and official football training.
