The Bermuda Football Association announced the Under 15 Boy’s National Team that will participate in the Mexico 5 Nations Tournament in Mexico City from August 2nd through 10th 2015. The tournament will take place at the Centro de alto Rendimiento, the high performance center and home of the Mexican National teams.
The tournament will feature Panama, Canada, Qatar, Bermuda and host Mexico.
Bermuda’s Under 15 players and coaches were initially preparing to compete in the 2nd edition of the CONCACAF U15 Boys Championships that was cancelled for this year. The Mexican tournament offers a good opportunity for the U15 team and presents a formidable challenge for our players against some of the top teams in the CONCACAF region. The team is eager to get into competitive matches after a largely successful Open Cup Tournament in Decatur, Alabama earlier this year where they were crowned co-champions.
The team will consist of 20 players and 5 staff led by Coach Ray Jones.
