Djair Parfitt-Williams and his West Ham Development Squad teammates went down 2 – 1 to Norwich City.
West Ham lost a game they looked like winning and should have won. Brown took his goal superbly and Potts made a successful comeback from injury, but it is difficult to take positives from such a defeat.
West Ham were leading with six minutes to play, but Norwich scored two goals in a space of a minute to earn the win.
Three chances in the space of two minutes for West Ham to wrap the game up occurred just prior to Norwich scoring their first goal and Parfitt-Williams was involved in all three! First, he shot from 25 yards and Norwich goalkeeper parried. Next, he tee’d up Lewis Page to find Jordan Brown, who flashed a shot across the face. Seconds later, Brown's cross is a yard in front of Page, who thunders into a tackle eight yards out and the clearance hits the Bermudian and the ball flies over the top.
