A day after scoring the winner for the PHC Zebras in the Under 16 Knockout Final Tahjae Welch fired the PHC Zebras into the lead in the Premier Development League Knock Out Final in the second half against the Dandy Town Hornets.
Two minutes later it was 2 – 0 to the PHC Zebras when Omari Tucker chased a long ball over the top of the defense and got to the ball before an advancing Dandy Town Hornets goalkeeper Swayne Cambell before putting the ball into an empty net.
Both teams were reduced to 10 men, when Campbell and Diondre Dowling go into a scuffle, a ball into the box saw the players collide with Campbell throwing a punch at Dowling and Dowling retaliated thus both received their marching orders.
Shakir Smith got in on the scoring act with a thunderous shot from close range to give the PHC Zebras a 3 – 0 lead.
