Djair Parfitt-Williams and his West Ham United Development teammates went down 3 – 2 to Manchester United Under 21 team.
West Ham went in front in the 15th minute when Reece Oxford rose highest to head home Josh Cullen's superb free-kick.
Manchester United hit to goals in two minutes, first in the 21st minute Josh Harrop beat Sam Owes at the near post. Just minutes later, they took the lead as Joe Rothwell slotted the ball home after a breakaway from a West Ham corner.
The West Ham United Development team drew level minutes before the half time break when Jordan Brown made the most of a defensive mix up and rolled the ball into the back of the net from two yards.
The winner came in the 64th minute as Harrop got his second of the evening as he slotted the ball home from a Januzaj's corner.
Twenty six minute later the final whistle went at the Leigh Sports Village with Manchester United the winners.
