The Women’s Futsal League Season continued inside the Warwick Academy Gymnasium with a total of 52 goals scored in the three games.
CP Chicas 28 Young Men Social Club 1
The CP Chicas scored at will and ran away with the game from the start and at half time led 11 - 1. The scoring continued with Chicas adding another 17 goals in the second half to win the game 28 - 1. Shautae Todd was outstanding for Chicas scoring 9 goals. League leading scorer Cleshaunay Darrell-Virgil added 7, Jayden Masters 5, Hana Bushara 3, Rayni Maybury 2, Danni Watson 1 and Jordan Davies 1. Jahdayna Samuels prevented the shut out scoring Young Men Social Club's lone goal.
Somerset Trojans 11 Hamilton Parish 3
An entertaining game saw the Somerset Trojans win their first league game. Somerset Trojans jumped out to an early lead and were up 5 - 1 at half time. Somerset Trojans added 6 more goals to Hamilton Parish's 2 goals to win the game 11 - 3. DeShae Darrell was outstanding for the Somerset Trojans scoring 3 goals. Dazhya Greaves added 4 goals, T'Chana Wade and Trinae Edwards scored 2 goals each. Karen Dechebert, Kaehlah Ming and Asriel Basden all scored 1 goal each for Hamilton Parish.
PHC Lady Zebras 6 Dandy Stars 3
The game of the evening saw PHC Lady Zebras overcome a determined Dandy Stars to maintain their undefeated position at the top of the league. However, in the first half both teams battled end to end with both goal keepers kept very busy. The end of the first half saw both teams tied at 1 goal each. The second half started out the same with neither team able to dominate the other. Later in the half Aaliyah Nolan led PHC to finally take control of the game with PHC scoring 5 more goals to Stars 2. Nolan was outstanding for PHC scoring 3 goals with Jessica Furtado adding 2 goals and Kalay Hollis 1. Zahra Gibbons was outstanding for Stars, with Kyla Ramatar scoring 2 goals and Tiara Smith 1 goal.
