The Southampton Rangers Sports Club has announced their First Southampton Rangers Future Leaders Scholarship recipients.
This year’s recipients are Willie Clemons who is studying Sports Management at Thomas College and Donte Brangman who is studying Exercise Science at East Tennessee State University. Each recipient was awarded $750 presented by Club President Gerri Saltus.
Saltus said, “At Southampton Rangers we have been evolving. Our mission is to return as the HUB of the community and to use sports as a tool to produce productive citizens. Today marks a special day for us as we present two young men with the FIRST EVER Southampton Rangers Future Leaders Scholarship. These young have shown tremendous talent both on and off the field and we would like show our support to their development with this scholarship. This is the start of many initiatives that will allow us to cement our position as a better community outlet."
