East Zone Winners St. George’s Preparatory booked a place in the Primary School Semi-Finals with a 3-2 victory over West Pembroke.
Aunde Todd scored twice for St. George’s Preparatory, with Jannis Roberts adding a single goal. West Pembroke got goals from David Blankendal and Adio Deshield- Tankard.
St. George’s Preparatory will now play East Central Zone Champions Somersfield Academy who won their Quarter-Final match with a 5-2 victory over Dalton E. Tucker School.
Hunter Outerbridge scored a hat trick for the winners, with Ty Dunlop and Machai Whitter adding a goal each for the winners. Damori Tucker and Kanye Ford scored for Dalton E. Tucker.
West Central Zone Champions Paget Primary needed a penalty shootout to defeat a determined and feisty Elliot Primary School team. The score was tied at a goal a piece of regulation. Paget held their nerve and won the shootout 4-3.
Somerset Primary was the only Zone Champions not to progress to the Semi-Final. They suffered a 6-3 defeat to Harrington Sound Primary. Jelani Simons was the hero for the East Zone runners up scoring five goals. Jakai Eve scored the other for Harrington Sound. Stefan Jones scored two for Somerset Primary with Jermal Proctor adding the other.
Bermuda High School edged past Warwick Academy in the Girls qualifying match. Kaitlyn Madeiros scored the game’s only goal.
Saltus Grammar School defeated Warwick Academy in the Under 16 Senior School Boys qualifying match. Matthew Lampit scored both goals for Saltus while Dylan Pedro scored a consolation goal for Warwick.
Cedarbridge Academy won the Girls Semi-Final defeating Saltus 4 – 0, Deshae Darrell scored all four goals for the Cedarbridge Academy.
