Thomas College with their Bermuda Eight was defeated 4-0 by Husson University in 2014 North Atlantic Conference Championship at Boucher Field.

Eight of Bermuda’s Young Footballers are playing for the Thomas College Men's Soccer team. The eight include, Winston Trott, Zeon Robinson, Mikal Simmons, Marcus Johnson, London Steede-Jackson, Tre Ming, Khamisi Lightbourne and Chris Godfrey.

Phil Frost had three goals for Husson University for the hat trick on the evening to put away Thomas College for good in the second half.

The loss ends Thomas College season 10-5-3. Husson improves to 13-7 on the season and will await its NCAA tournament pairing.

Michael Curtis scored the only goal of the first half, as he put home a deflection in the 38th minute. Thomas held the slight 10-8 edge in shots in the first half and outshot Husson University 28-17 on the night. Husson found the back of the net three more times in the second half, with all three goals coming from Frost.

Josh Bean assisted Frost's first and second goals, which came just 1:11 apart in the 63rd minute of the game. Frost's fourth goal, assisted by Dylan Wetmore sealed the game for Husson University in the 76th minute.

For Thomas, NAC Player of the Year Dakota Duplissie generated much of the team's offense, registering eight shots. Ming added five and threatened Husson's goalkeeper Potter a few times, but Potter preserved the shutout with 12 saves on the night. Joakim Sternas made three saves in the losing effort, and Trott relieved him in the final ten minutes but did not need to make a save.

Husson's Stephen Berenyi was named the 2014 NAC Men's Soccer Championship Most Valuable Player following the game, and teammates Potter, Kyle Hargreaves, Frost, and Bean joined him on the All-Tournament Team. Thomas' Dakota Duplissie, Ming, and Lukas Bohman were also named to the team, along with Michael Skarbelis and Brandon Currier from New England College and Rick Prindiville and Carlton Wheeler-Omiunu from Colby-Sawyer.
