The BFA National Academy program recently departed with a group of 42 players for a one week training camp at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
The group features 2001-2003 Boys and Girls from the 2001-2003 birth year. Bermuda High School student and standout ABC Valencia player Katelyn Mederios is the youngest participant, aged 9 years old.
Day 1 has been running smoothly. The Players all trained this morning under the direction of the BFA coaches and attended an IMG presentation after lunch. They then headed to the fields for a session with the IMG coaches sporting their Stanno gear.
After a late check in the coaches will gauge the fatigue levels of the players following the IMG session, if they are too tired they will move the inter squad matches to Friday and allow them free time to recover from fatigues of travel.
