www.islandstats.com reported that Bermuda will face Australia, Chile and host United States of America from July 14th – 18th.
Richard Todd, the Bermuda Football Association National Academy Director, explained how the offer came about.
“We were invited by the United States as they were having trouble finding a fourth team to take part and this offers us an opportunity to give some players a chance to get more exposure,” said Todd.
“We were hoping that the Under 20 Men’s team would have advanced in the Dominican Republic so we would have used this as another warm up for the next round, however that was not the case so coach Dennis Brown will have a chance to see some of the Under 23 players to determine fitness and the squad will be finalized on Monday,” concluded Todd.
