Although there has been no announcement from the Bermuda Football Association, www.islandstats.com can reveal that Bermuda will face Australia, Chile and host United States of America in an upcoming Under-20 NTC Invitational Tournament to be held at US Soccer’s National Training Centre in Carson, California from July 14th – 18th.
The USA training camp and international friendly matches are important parts of the Australian’s preparations for the AFC U-19 Championship in Myanmar in October this year, which also Double as Qualification Tournament for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand which will be held in July 2015.
Bermuda will play their opening match of the Tournament against Australia on Monday July 14th, with their second match against host nation USA on Wednesday July 16th and their final match against Chile on Friday July 18th.
We can expect the Bermuda Football Association to release further information on the team, dates of travel and coaching staff in the very near future.
