IMG Academy Bradenton Go Down in Opener
Led by Alcides Thomas' two goals, the SW Florida Adrenaline continued their early-season success with the second win of the United States Soccer Leagues, PDL season as they took a 3-0 victory against IMG Academy Bradenton in their first road game of the season.

None of the Bermuda Players that are on the IMG Academy Bradenton roster was dressed for the match.

Thomas opened the scoring in the 21st minute by knocking in the rebound of his own shot past Bradenton goalkeeper Connor Sparrow after he had stolen the ball from a Bradenton defender. Eighteen minutes later Bradenton defender David Ahidor was presented with a yellow card and that led to a free kick by the Adrenaline's Charlie Miles. Sparrow deflected the initial ball into the penalty area, but Romain Terzian was in position to put the ball into the net to give the Adrenaline a two-goal lead near halftime.

Bradenton almost broke through in the 45th minute when it was awarded a free kick, but Adrenaline goalie Arthur Claypot dove across the goal to his left and deflected the ball away to preserve a 2-0 halftime lead.

Thomas scored his second goal in the 78th minute as defender Owen McCordle fed a perfect pass to Ashley Miller, who crossed the ball into the penalty area where Thomas headed the into the net for a 3-0 Adrenaline lead.
