The Bermuda Football Association announced the Senior Women’s National Team’s participation in the first ever Women’s Caribbean Cup. This competition will also serve as the Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.
www.islandstats.com reported yesterday that the Inaugural CFU Women’s Caribbean Cup will take place in six countries namely, Antigua, Dominican Republic, Turks and Caicos Islands, Haiti and Puerto Rico, before advancing to the final round to meet host Trinidad.
The Bermuda Ladies will play in Turks & Caicos Islands from May 21st – 28th in Group 3 with Cayman Islands, St Kitts-Nevis and host country Turks & Caicos Islands.
The Senior Women have remained active after their Gold Medal performance in the Natwest Island Games hosted in Bermuda and will increase the intensity of their training under the direction of Women’s head coach Naquita Robinson.
