This week sees another first for Glasgow Rangers Soccer Schools with a new Overseas Camp in Bermuda at both the Bernard Park and the Whitney Institute School Field.
Last summer the North Village Community Club came on board as an affiliate club during their hugely successful Team Tour which also saw them take part in the Rangers International Tournament.
Now it's a switch of roles as four soccer schools coaches have flown to Bermuda to work with North Village's players and coaches. Over 80 kids have signed up for the camp and will be put through their paces by the Rangers coaches.
Greg Statt, Overseas Development Officer, said, "We hope, of course, that the kids enjoy themselves but also learn from our coaches and develop as young players.
"There is some real talent in Bermuda as we saw when their young teams visited us last year, so all the coaches are looking forward the exciting week ahead."
North Village will, later in the summer, return to Glasgow with a selection of their teams for a Team Tour as part of a strong relationship between the clubs.
