National 1998 Academy Squad 1 PHC Zebras Under 14’s 1
In the first match on the final day of the Clyde Best Invitational tournament, the National 1998 Academy Squad and the PHC Zebras Under 14 team played to a 1 – 1 draw. Isaiah Robinson scored for the PHC Zebras, while Judah Chapman equalized for the National 1998 Academy Squad.
Bermuda National Academy Under 17 Ladies 0 FC Virginia Ladies 7
Christina Davey scored early in the match to give the visiting FC Virginia Ladies a 1 – 0 lead when she converted from the penalty spot. Sisi Lam doubled the lead with a lefty footed shot that beat the Academy goalkeeper Chelsea Harvey, Tess Sapone then made it three to the visitors with a header from close range. Sapone scored her second and her team’s fourth with a shot from some 20 yards out. Minutes later Sapone recorded her hat-trick with a header from close range. Lauren Kelly made it 6 – 0 before the half time break. The FC Virginia Ladies scored the only goal of the second half when Lam found the net for the second time.
National Academy Under 16 Squad 0 Princeton Premier Under 16 Squad 1
Sam Button scored the only goal of the game for visiting the Princeton Premier Under 16 Squad as they defeated the Bermuda National Academy Under 16 Squad 1 – 0.
