Back on August 10th the Bermuda Football Association announced they would be hosting a Beach Football Tournament on Sunday, August 28th at the Horseshoe Bay Beach.
Fourteen days later the Bermuda Football Association released the following statement:
“The Bermuda Football Association regrets to announce that the Beach Football Tournament scheduled for Sunday, August 28th has been cancelled due to a lack of entries.
The BFA Beach Football Committee will meet with various stake holders in Bermuda Football and develop a new strategy and plan for the summer of 2017.
We are committed to make this an exciting and viable form of football for all of Bermuda to enjoy.”
