In a special edition of Referee’s Corner, Bermuda Football Association Referee Chairman Crenstant Williams gave Youth Referee’s gear that FIFA had sent.
Youth Referee’s were on the receiving end of a gear bag, that held Track Suits, shorts, T-Shirts and more..
Also in attendance was Kalisha Antoine, FIFA Referee Physical Instructor from Antigua.
Antoine who is no stranger to Bermuda said, the Referee’s in Bermuda need to keep training. ..do it right and proper and you will get the rewards. ”
“The entire aspect of fitness of refereeing is changing and is no longer just running around the field but being there in terms of applying the components of fitness, ” continued Antoine.
Antoine concluded, “The intensity and frequency of referees training needs to be increased.”
