Primary, Middle and Senior School Physical Education teachers were this morning learning the fundamentals of Tennis at the Elbow Beach Tennis Courts.
Michael Wolffe the President of the Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association said, “I am pleased to see this come off as the focus of helping the teachers advance their knowledge in the sport of Tennis.”
Lavern Stowe, who helped make this a reality was excited stating, “Any chance to push Tennis forward is a good thing and that’s what I am pleased with.”
Lindsay Ford said, “Getting the teachers together is always a good thing to understand rules and the basics of a sport, we are utilizing our Professional Development Day to get this done.”
Steve Bean who facilitated the clinic said, “With everyone participating and having fun was the key in the whole process, if the teachers have fun learning, they can also have fun teaching it to the kids.”
