Eva Frazzoni and her College of Saint Rose Women’s Soccer teammates wrapped up their regular-season campaign on a high note with a 2-1 Northeast-10 Conference triumph against visiting New Haven.
The College of Saint Rose, ranked #11 in this week's United Soccer Coaches National poll, overcame an early 1-0 deficit and manufactured a 22-8 shot advantage while twice rattling the crossbar. Saint Rose has thus secured the top-seed in the upcoming NE10 Championship Tournament. The College of Saint Rose, who will be seeking their eighth conference postseason title, will host eighth-seed Pace University in a Quarter-Final match. Saint Rose upended the then #24 Setters 2-1, in Double Overtime in Albany back on September 24th. As for this match, senior forward Nina Predanic set up both Saint Rose strikes. Freshman forward Olivia Boucher tied it with her tenth goal of the year at the 18:42 mark when she drove home Predanic's initial deflected shot four minutes after New Haven had gone ahead. Senior forward Caitlyn Dabagian then collected a Predanic pass, dribbled up the left flanks and fired a shot from 15-yards out inside the right post with 33:03 expired.
