Americans Stewart Isaacs and Toni Dickerson are in Bermuda assisting with a Jump Rope Camp at the Victor Scott School.
2017 Grand World Champion in Single Rope Freestyle Isaacs from Ohio, a PhD student in AeroAstro credits his academic successes to his long career in competitive Jump Roping.
Life has been a journey from one jump rope competition to another. At age 5, Isaacs and his sister joined their elementary school’s competitive Jump Rope team. Years later, after astronomical amounts of practice and the addition of high-flying tricks and flips to his repertoire, Isaacs went on to compete and win at the Regional, National, and World levels.
Dickerson herself a female Double-Dutch Jump Rope Champion during the 2016 world championships is amazed of what she has seen in just a week of being on the island.
