Delray Rawlins helped Eastbourne Cricket Club defeat Rottingdean Cricket Club by 7 Wickets in a Twenty 20 1st X1 battle at the Falmer Road Rottingdean Ground.
Rottingdean batted first and were bowled out for 115, Jonathan Smith was their top scorer with 35, while Jacob Smith was the pick of the Eastbourne bowlers with figures of 4-0-30-3, Rawlins bowled 4-0-12-2.
In reply Eastnourne would score 116/3 after 14 overs, Rawlins opened the inning and scored 39 runs off 24 deliveries, he would hit six 4’s and one 6.
Rawlins shared a 71 run opening wicket stand with James Hockley the other opener who finished with 40.
