Twenty teams from the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) excluding Bermuda will be in the hunt for top honors in the CFU Women’s Challenge Series.
The competition is scheduled for April and will be played across five venues, namely Warner Park Sporting Complex in St. Kitts; UWI JFF Captain Horace Burrell Center of Excellence in Jamaica; Stade Sylvia Cator in Haiti; Antigua Recreation Grounds in Antigua; and Ato Boldon Stadium in Trinidad.
www.islandstats.com asked Bermuda Football Association President Mark Wade why Bermuda will not be involved in the tournament.
Wade said, “The notice for this tournament was not given in advance and the Technical Committee felt that we need to stay focused on other things at present.”
