Trey Simons ran to victory in the Cedric Walker HBCU Challenge, while Juma Mouchette finished 38th.
Representing Morehouse College Simons covered the Men 7.71k Run Cross Country HBCU Challenge course in a time of 25:48.1.
Simons was 29 seconds ahead of the second place finisher Nick Reed from the Pacers New Balance who was clocked at 26:17.1, finishing third was Mar'Quise McGee representing North Carolina A&T State who recorded a time of 26:22.4.
Mouchette representing Virginia State University clocked a time of 30:41.5.
Morehouse College finished 2nd out of 17 teams with 45 points, while Virginia State University finished 4th with 123 points.
