One Communications and the Bermuda Cricket Board announced that the One Communications Premier Division ‘Player of the Week’ is Malachi Jones of Bailey’s Bay. In the match against the Somerset Cricket Club Jones scored 184 runs which included 10 six’s and 19 fours. This allowed Bailey’s Bay to compile a season high 332 runs, Jones also produced an outstanding bowling performance taking 3 wickets for just 19 runs from his 10 overs.
During the press conference not attended by print media, will definitely see an interview tomorrow or Saturday with someone from Bailey’s Bay regarding Jones’ comments about what he has been selected to do come Saturday in the County match. (See video)

The One Communications First Division ‘Player of the Week’ is Alafia Henry from the Devonshire Recreation Club. In the game against PHC, Henry came to the wicket with his team on 123/6 needing to reach 249 for victory. Henry’s unbeaten 87 not out in a partnership of 138 with Paul Carr-Harvey allowed Devonshire Recreation Club to secure victory and keep their promotion hopes alive.
