Bermuda Youngsters Conclude Championships in Paraguay

Bermuda’s group of youngsters concluded competing at the 2017 Optimist South American Championship in Paraguay.

After six Races in the Individual competition Bermuda has five sailors in the top 100.

Leading the Bermuda team in the Amarillo Fleet was Sebastian Kempe who started the day 79th and finished 50th with a Net Point total of 133 points.

Jordan Etemadi finish 59th with a total of 149 Net Points, while Magnus Ringsted finished in 60th place with 150 Net Points.

Competing in the Azul Fleet saw Ahzai Smith finish in 9th with 140 Net Points, Leyli Walker finished in 16th place with 150 Net Points.

Genevieve Lau finished 46th with 210 Net Points and Christian Ebbin finished in 64th place with 330 Net Points.
