Bermuda Cricket Board President, Lloyd Fray, congratulated Emmerson Carrington on his selection by ICC to officiate in the regional World Cricket League qualifier to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, between February 21st - 23rd.
This three match series between Cayman Islands and Argentina will determine which country will compete the next World Cricket League Division 5.
Additionally Cricket Argentina have requested Carrington to officiate in a domestic three day match and provide some training to local junior umpires after the tournament.
Fray said, “Bermuda has a strong history of producing quality international umpires who have proven themselves on the international stage consistently. I have no doubt that Carrington will continue to enhance that reputation. I congratulate him and the BCUA on this appointment and trust that not only will Carrington grow from the experience but the opportunity will aspire others to follow in his footsteps.”
