Oshawa Generals 3 Halifax Mooseheads 5
In the opener the Halifax Mooseheads defeated the Oshawa Generals 5 - 3. Jeffrey Loper led the Halifax mooseheads with two goals, while Andrew Bonner, Jeremy Estey and Jordan Gunter all added a goal each. Tom Miller scored twice for the Oshawa Generals, while Ian Guthro added the other.
Sarnia Sting 3 Vancouver Giants 1
The Sarnia Sting defeated the Vancouver Giants 3 - 1 in the nightcap, Adam Mattatall, Townie Jackson and Ross Rufiange all found the back of the net once for the Sarnia Sting, while John Duda scored the lone goal for the Vancouver Giants.
