The Somerset Shamrocks defeated the St George’s Gaels 18 - 14 to claim to the Jimmy Quinn Memorial Trophy at the National Sports Center in a Gaelic Football match.
Alan Tiernan and Michael Luber both scored a 3 point goal to lead the Somerset Shamrocks to victory, they also got 6 1 point goals from Jimmy Caplice, 3 from Colin O’Sullivan, 2 from Tiernan and a single strike from Dylan Marshall.
The St. George’s Gaels would score a three point goal off the boot of Brian McGonagle, while Neil McGuiness added 6 one point goals, Damien McDonald added 2 one point goals, while McGonagle, Seamus Feron and Ronan O’Connell added a one point goal each.
