Dalin Richardson IslandStats.com Two Bermuda Cricket players made the DreamCricket.com's ICC Americas U17 All-Tournament Team.
Nzari Paynter (Bermuda) – 90 runs at 22.50, three wickets
The most technically astute of Bermuda’s batsmen, Paynter was arguably the best player of spin bowling in Texas from any of the three sides, evidenced by the fact that he was the only player who scored efficiently off the best spinner on the week, Canada’s Aran Pathmanathan. Had Paynter been surrounded by a better lineup, he would have certainly made better scores as most of his dismissals were the result of hitting out with a lack of support. His off-spinners were a handy part-time option and though he only took three wickets, nobody had more catches dropped off their bowling than Paynter.
Dalin Richardson (Bermuda) – 52 runs at 13.00, seven wickets at 13.14
Richardson’s batting also suffered from being in a weak lineup, but his medium pace was effective at forcing errors. He was also outstanding in the field, taking a number of very sharp catches in the circle.
