Nikki Bascome’s win by TKO over American Claudele Duprier has not counted towards his career record.
Bascome who is ranked 894th in the Super Welterweight Division, the boxer was initially denied the win after Oscar Lightbourne, the acting commissioner, refused to sanction the July 2015 bout at Bermuda College Gym after Bascome’s opponent failed to make the weight required.
The Commissioner presided over the weigh-in for the bout with Bascome weighing in at 145lbs while Duprier weighed in at 164.5lbs. The weight difference between the two boxers was significant, putting Duprier three weight classes above Bascome.

Bascome recorded his first win on February 22nd, 2014 defeating Jorge Quintero in Florida, he then defeated Joe Marchand in Bermuda on November 21st, 2014 and his third victory came on November 7th 2015 against Erick Reyes in Bermuda, Bascome floored Reyes in the first round.
