Xtreme Sports, Bermuda’s newest entertainment business plans to host an event to launch their corporate services line of the business. The company, which launched in June 2015 has initially been focusing on providing services for birthday parties, summer day camps, and various other groups. After a successful start to the business, owner, Marquel Waldron thinks it’s the perfect time to launch the corporate services line of the business with the Xtreme Sports Games.
According to their website, “Xtreme Sports is proud to present the Xtreme Sports Games, Bermuda’s newest corporate team building event. The Xtreme Sports Games will feature a fun-filled day of different companies competing against each other in various sports and activities. However, the twist is that most of the sports and activities are unconventional. Sports and activities such as bubble football, human bowling, slip-n-slide kickball, volley pong, and zorb racing to name a few. This event promises to be one epic day as sixteen Bermudian companies battle it out to be crowned the Xtreme Sports Games Champion!”
The idea behind the event is to provide the Bermudian community with something new and exciting to look forward to, as well as showcase what Xtreme Sports has to offer in terms of product and services. Owner, Marquel Waldron is quite optimistic about the event and hopes that Bermudian companies rally behind the event, which promises to special. In Waldron’s view, the importance of corporate team building and striking a good work-life balance can’t be stressed enough, and the Xtreme Sports Games is a perfect example of both.
The company has also released a brochure, briefly outlining the importance of corporate team building. According to the brochure, “It’s no secret that years of research has suggested that a cohesive team of employees might be vital to a company’s success. Due to the fact that teamwork is so critical to a company’s success, team building activities are imperative. Team building activities strengthen professional relationships, improve moral and help with more efficient and effective workflow.”
Other than the focus of corporate team building, Waldron also believes that the Xtreme Sports Games can provide the perfect stage for good old fashioned bragging rights. Let’s face it, there’s nothing like having bragging rights over your biggest industry rivals, even it’s in terms of sports rather than business itself. It is should also be highlighted that the Xtreme Sports Games will support a good cause as the winner will receive $4,000 to be awarded to a registered Charity of their choice.
The event is scheduled for April 9th 2016 and will be held at the National Sports Centre North Field from 12pm to 6pm. If you’re interested in more information on the event, registering a team, or becoming a sponsor, you can visit their website, www.xtremesportsbmd.com.
