The Cabrini Men's Soccer team will begin its preparations for the 2014 season a bit early, as the team will embark on a five day trip to Bermuda on August 8th. The trip will find the team practicing, exploring the island nation and playing three games against Bermudian teams.
All three of the Cabrini matches are slated to be played at BFA Field-Prospect and the Clyde Best Centre of Excellence, the home of the Bermuda Football Association. The Blue and White will face three Bermudian amateur sides, including the PHC Zebras and the League Champions Dandy Town Hornets.
The Blue and White will also have an opportunity to explore some of the cultural aspects of the island. Among the scheduled activities are a tour of Horseshoe Bay, a cricket experience and a tour of St. George's, a town that dates back to 1612. The team will also join one of its opponents for a postgame dinner.
Cabrini will open their 2014 season on Friday, August 29th when it hosts Penn State in the opening game of the Cabrini Labor Day Kick-Off Tournament. Shenandoah and Wesley will meet in the day's second game, with the tournament's consolation and Championship Games slated for Saturday.
