Heritage Productions hosted its 10th Annual Emancipation Celebration Awards Luncheon at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.
The luncheon is an occasion when former Cup Match players are awarded for their participation and contribution to the Summer Classic.
Heritage Productions organized the 1st Emancipation Awards Luncheon ceremony to commemorate Bermuda’s Emancipation while simultaneously honoring those men who have helped to promote Bermuda’s cultural heritage.
Eight awards were presented, the Somerset recipients consist of James Swan, Erskine Smith, Wendell Simmons and Dwayne Richardson, while the St. George’s recipients included Terry Fray, Ken Pitcher, Adrian King and Charles Marshall.
A special award was presented to Ms. Christine Paynter.
